JPAW has been awarded a Small Business Innovative Research (SBIR) grant to develop, in collaboration with Los Alamos National Laboratory, a Free Electron Maser amplifier capable of producing > 500 MW peak power at 17 GHz. This device would be a suitable rf source for an advanced linear collider.
